Friends who learn and grow together
A person cannot cultivate a forest alone.
A person cannot cultivate a forest alone.
The Somori Way is not something that can be completed by one person alone.
Just as a forest is supported by many plants and living creatures,
People, too, grow through the connections they make with many others.
I myself have been supported by many people throughout my work in the water industry.
And now, as I nurture this little forest, I feel it all over again.
Humans, like nature,
Learn together,
Growing up together,
We are beings who enrich each other.

Current activities
At Sōmoridō, we are currently documenting the following activities:
Creating a forest / Cultivating a small indoor forest / Observing plant growth
Experiments on water circulation systems / Research on forest air conditioning / Research on natural energy
Groundwater utilization technology / Direct gas-liquid heat exchange technology / Radiant heating and cooling technology
Forest Air Conditioning Project / Living and Learning / Coexistence with Nature
Prayer and gratitude / Visiting shrines / Daily insights / Life lessons / The roles of companions
There are many people involved in Somorido in various ways.
Some people observe the forest,
Some people support the technology,
Some people write stories,
Some people are supporting the dissemination of information.
Each person can get involved in a way that suits their strengths,
The forest grows little by little.
Future Community Concepts
The Soshindo path has only just begun.
However, in the future,
People who learn about forest management
People interested in renewable energy
People who grow plants
People who are active in the community
People who want to re-evaluate their lives
I want this to be a place where such people can gather, learn together, and grow together.
Large facilities are not necessary.
Learning can begin even in a forest the size of a single tatami mat.

What Soshindo aims for
Somorido is
It is a way to nurture the forest,
It is a path to nurturing people.
It is also a way to nurture one's life.
The learning that begins in this small forest will eventually spread to many people.
We hope this will lead to a future where we can live richly in harmony with nature.
A forest cannot grow alone.
People, too, cannot grow up alone.
Learn together, grow together, and prosper together.
That is the Somori Road.
