Starting today, I'm beginning a new record.
This is not just a record of houseplants.
And it's not just a development record of air conditioners.
People give up a little space to the forest,
Along with water, stones, soil, and plants,
This is an attempt to cultivate a pleasant atmosphere.
I have been involved in the development of water and heat technologies for many years.
Our technology is an energy-saving air conditioning technology that has been proven in factories, warehouses, livestock facilities, and other locations.
The basic technology involves vaporization at low temperatures and direct heat exchange between the gas and liquid phases.
While providing performance equivalent to an air conditioner,
We have aimed to reduce energy consumption by up to 90%.
We can also design small, home-use models, from a technical standpoint.
However, if it were marketed as a regular household air conditioner,
We will be competing with major global air conditioner manufacturers and those offering lower-priced products.
Is the future I desire there?
With that in mind, I began creating a small forest in my bedroom.
Initially, the forest was a design.
It was a very soothing experience.
I thought of it as something that would enhance air conditioning technology.
However, when I actually started living in the forest, it was different.
A heat storage layer made of rock and water.
Circulating water.
A small waterfall.
Oxygenated water.
Plant transpiration.
The water retention capacity of soil.
Microclimates created by leaves.
And a gentle breeze.
They are not separate parts,
It began to function as a small living system.
The forest was not just for show.
The forest itself began to purify the air.
This forest is still unfinished.
But I sleep, work, and observe this forest every day.
Room temperature, humidity, water temperature, plant growth, fish behavior, and changes in perceived temperature.
I'm recording everything.
Around the time this year's heatwave subsides,
This little forest may be bringing us closer to one answer.
I'm not saying air conditioners are bad.
From a future that relies solely on machines,
Towards a future where forests and machines quietly help each other.
From the bedroom, where people spend the most time,
Create a space to rest, recover, and sleep in harmony with the forest.
This is the new development log that I'm starting today.
This forest is not yet a product for sale.
However, it is already a research institute.
And it's starting to become my own little utopia.
Let us tell the world about the miracle of this forest.
However, not for the purpose of selling,
Someone finds their own little utopia
